LCI Projects and R&D
LCI is involved in advanced research and development of lidar systems for military and commercial applications. LCI has developed and manufactured lasers and laser systems for multiple applications including underwater imaging, precision materials processing, test and measurement, laser guidestar sources for adaptive optics, eye-safe laser rangefinders, laser designators and many others. LCI also specializes in ladar transceivers based on solid-state laser and proprietary wavelength conversion technology. Since its inception, LCI scientists and engineers have developed and patented several highly innovative laser and ladar components and techniques. LCI has worked with and secured multiple contracts with several government agencies for new technology development and the manufacture of specialized laser based systems. The technology in LCI's innovative and unique products is fueled by much of this work, and we continue to develop systems with capabilities unmatched by any other lidar company in the world.
