small logo Multi-Spectral Transmitter

Single or Multiple Interlaced Wavelengths

LCI's multi-spectral transmitter produces wavelengths of 1047 nm, 790 nm, 680 nm, and 524 nm. It can operate in single wavelength mode for any of these wavelengths or in a multi-spectral mode in which the 790, 680, and 524 pulses are interlaced. The transmitter operates at 50 Hz in both single-wavelength and multispectral modes. Features of LCI?s multi-spectral transmitter include the following:

  • Conduction-cooled design. Heat removal from TE coolers can be accomplished by conductive means such as heat pipes and/or air-flow and fins
  • High-efficiency resonator design uses high order super-Gaussian output coupler, which also enables high amplifier extraction efficiency
  • Short-pulse-width (~3 nsec) for LIDAR use with minimal pulse trail
  • Rugged opto-mechanical design for use in demanding environments
  • Custom-designed high-efficiency electronics drivers, controllers, and power supplies utilizing state-of-the-art electronics technology
