Eye-safe Rangefinder for Long-Distance Ranging
The DynaRangerTM eye-safe laser rangefinder is capable of ranging
upwards of 80 km. LCI has leveraged its systems know-how and
advanced diode-pumped transmitter technology to create an eye-safe
system that has revolutionary range capability at a very high
repetition frequency. Originally designed and built for tracking
small objects at long range, the DynaRangerTM can range continuously
at a pulse repetition frequency of 100 Hz. The system operates
at 1.5 microns, and is ANSI Class I eye safe at the exit aperture.
It utilizes a receiver telescope with a 16" aperture and a
high power laser transmitter that is diode pumped and completely
air cooled to achieve unprecedented range capability.
