The Lite Cycles Legacy

Lite Cycles, Inc. (LCI) is a leader in the design and development of advanced Electro-Optical (EO) systems with an emphasis on 3-D Light/Laser Detection and Ranging (LIDAR/LADAR). LCI was founded in 1995 in the heart of "Optics Valley"- Tucson, Arizona . Since its inception, LCI has emphasized a culture of innovation, teamwork, and loyalty that has attracted and retained the experienced and talented employees necessary for state-of-the-art EO system development. LCI's unique technology, multi-disciplinary expertise, and extensive EO system development experience, provide a solid foundation for complete EO system solutions for a broad range of mission requirements:

  • Development of innovative EO system concepts
  • System performance analysis using proprietary LCI codes
  • Optical detector specification and selection
  • High-bandwidth detector analog electronics with digitization
  • Compact, high-density, digital LIDAR control and signal processing algorithms executed in firmware
  • High-precision LIDAR range estimation using proprietary LCI technology
  • Compact, high-bandwidth fiber channel data transmission and recording
  • Compact, rugged, air-cooled, diode-pumped, single and multiple wavelength lasers
  • Proprietary Integrated Scanner, Detector, and Telescope (ISDTTM) gimbal designs enabling large-aperture multiple receiver LIDAR system integration into Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) applications
  • System electro-optical-mechanical design, fabrication, and assembly
  • Laboratory and field data collection
  • Data analysis

These capabilities have generated a number of unique LCI EO system products and programs.
